Qualitative Quarter which opened in 2007 has become well known for its excellent qualitative abilities and facilities. Our clients know us to be professional and driven, providing high quality outcomes for every project we touch. At Qualitative Quarter, we pride ourselves on providing tailored experiences for our clients.
So what’s new at Qualitative Quarter?
We are pleased to announce that due to popular demand, Qualitative Quarter has spread its wings and we now have a sister company, Quantitative Quarter, focusing on Quantitative Research.
We are now in a position to provide fieldwork for qualitative and quantitative market research, b2b and consumer research and we have recently opened a call centre!
Besides our in-house expertise, we partner with other professional researchers and are therefore in a position to provide a full on research process, from taking a brief right through to analysis, report writing and final presentation to client.
Qualitative Quarter is owned and managed by Julie Rathbone. Julie has a degree in Psychology from WITS and first came into contact with research as a recruitment consultant. By default she became a specialist in placing people in market research companies, recruiting for such companies as AC Nielsen and Ask Afrika, amongst others. She soon became passionate about research and decided to open a business, along with Palesa Mcwabeni, offering peripheral services to research companies, e.g. transcribing, translating, etc. It was not long before the company grew to being a fully-fledged qualitative facility, and then went on to embrace quantitative work as well. Julie is a hands-on manager, and prides herself on the relationships she builds with clients and members of her team. She puts her success down to the fact that she loves every minute of what she is doing, and enjoys the versatility of the job and the fact that every day and every project is different and brings with it new challenges. She is a person who believes you are never too old to grow and learn and perpetually looks for new and innovative ways to grow the business.
Danielle Popham started at Qualitative Quarter in March 2010. Danielle's strengths lie in her ability to grasp a concept extremely quickly and run with it. She absorbs information with ease, and can assimilate and act on it quietly and quickly. She has the two qualities essential to being a good Field Manager - accountability and problem solving. Also, the ability to remain calm under pressure! She is a fast learner and builds relationships with her recruiters to ensure quality throughout the recruiting process. She recruits respondents across the board for all business to business and consumer interviews/groups and has the ability to work with people from the highest to the lowest LSM. She briefs all her recruiters and puts each respondent through a quality approval process, and is able to communicate all problems quickly and effectively to clients so as to avoid any hiccups. She enjoys research because it is never the same; there is always a new challenge with every project. Danielle also believes simplicity is key in the business environment.
